Posted by: cadmus at Mon Aug 16 18:17:29 2010 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by cadmus ] At about 3 this afternoon I noticed the first (13 total eggs)slit in an egg. At 5 pm, there appeared to be a dark head protruding but not out yet. I did not look too closely but did not notice any slit in the other eggs. I am pumped as this is my first attempt. How long does it generally take for a hatchling to emerge and what is a safe time frame for both an individual emerging and from the first to the last in clutch hatching out? I had some temperature variation as described in a prior post. Can hardly wait. [ Reply To This Message ] [ Subscribe to this Thread ] [ Hide Replies ]
