Local kid found an Albino Garter in...

O.K. I just had a show this weekend and a kid told me that he found an Albino Garter Snake in his yard. He and I live in the Portland, Or. area. I don't know if this is a big deal or not... I'm a boa guy. Any ideas where to direct him would be appreciated.
