A Hermanns would be far easier to care for in Ohio as they can take cooler temps, a night time drop in temps and dont require loads of humidity. Redfoots CAN be kept in the northern climates but are far more difficult to keep PROPERLY. They require heat all the time and high humidity which is very hard to do. I have a misting system and spend the winter thinking up new ways to keep the humidity up higher without rotting and molding. Not an easy task.
