Hi,

I posted this question in the Uroplatus forum, but there hasn't been any activity in a couple of months. I thought I would check here as well.

I have a 6 1/2 year old female U Henkeli that has never been bred. She had an incomplete shed so I took her out of her cage for a soak. When I went to put her back in her cage, I noticed what looks like large calcium sacs under her neck. I have never noticed them before and even though she is handled very rarely, I don't know how I could have not noticed these before.

Are these just normal calcium sacs or is something wrong with her? She seems otherwise normal. My husbandry has been consistent throughout the years with no recent changes. Is there perhaps, different dietary/supplementation schedules for her age?

Here are some pics - sorry in advance for the poor quality - 1 hand on her and 1 hand on the camera makes picture taking difficult!

Thanks,
Lisa
