I have a female gtp that I have had for several years now with no problems. I have recently noticed her resting on the ground of her cage, usually among the plants. I have read that this is a "normal behavior" but in the five years I have had her she has never done this before. The house has been hotter than usual because of the heat wave. she seems normal in all other ways. I even tried soaking her but she seems to like being on the ground now except feeding time. any suggestions?
