Just in case you needed/wanted more input I confirm what Kelly said. The only thing I have to add since you said, "Im just a little bit nervous as Ive never had anything bigger then 8ft ever." the snake's disposition is important. In situations like this your obvious honesty will keep you safer than your pride will. Kudos. (My wife scares me as I've never had anything over 5ft 3in before.)
