Found by my garage, what kind??

So we came back from the grocery store a couple hours ago and I found this little guy by the downspout by my garage. I live in SW Florida.



I did some Googling before coming here and it looks to be a green slider maybe??? Could someone take a look at my pics below and help me out so I can take care of it?



No, there is no red on the ears, already checked...that would be too easy, wouldn't it? LOL!



Also, how do I tell if this is a male or female?



Lastly, husbandry for the little one? Special water like distilled or is filtered from my fridge OK? Foodstuffs?
