Thank you for your concern...our kids are never allowed to be alone with any of our animals...I was just saying I want something that if I'm holding it or near by they can touch it. I have seen some very sweet igs and some very not so sweet igs...we have had beardies before and they are great pets but we don't want to mess with bugs. Sometimes the igs in rescues have been neglected so long that they just wouldn't be good fit for our family...I think an ig that is used to being handled would work..thanks again
