I usually start talking about how cute the rabbits are and ask the kids questions about rabbits. Only once did the conversation make it back to what I'm going to do with the rabbit(s). I told the lil' girl I was going to take it home, feed & water it, take good care of it, and one day let it have babies. I did just that, too. I still have that doe as one of my main breeders.
