Yeah, I know what you mean. I usually start talking about how cute the rabbits are and ask the kids questions about rabbits. Only once did the conversation make it back to what I'm going to do with the rabbit(s). I told the lil' girl I was going to take it home, feed & water it, take good care of it, and one day let it have babies. I did just that, too. I still have that doe as one of my main breeders.

I pretty much keep a low profile about my snakes, they're diet, etc... I wouldn't have said to just anybody what I told that fella in the store. I don't know if I just couldn't resist giving him a bigger shock than he was trying to give me or if I subconsciously wanted to show him that he wasn't the biggest freak around town. Ha! Ha!
