Hello, hoping to find some info on a snake I recently rescued. She seems to be an Indian python, about 4 feet long. She was terribly ematiated; just sagging skin and light as a feather. She was otherwise in decent shape (no mites, no upper respitory, etc). She has proven to be an avid feeder and I think she is well on her way to recovery.

Here are my questions-- she has been eating a small f/k rat every 3-4 days. Is this schedule ok for now, as she regains her weight? I don't want to over or underfeed.

Are there any special requirements for Indians that are not covered by basic python care? There doesn't seem to be a lot of info out there on them.

Thanks for your time!! I haven't gotten great pics yet, but here is one...
