Posted by: megalon at Fri Sep 17 15:20:57 2010 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by megalon ] try giving them freeze dried bloodworms,or tubifex worms(both easily obtainable at most petstores,in the fish section).after they start eating on either one of those,work in hatchling-sized pellets,dried shrimp,and nightcrawler pieces.just catch a nightcrawler,and chop it up a bit.don't use wrigglers or 'dyed' nightcrawlers,just plain old fishing worms.every week,work in another type of food.my spotteds eat a mix of 5 different commercial turtle pellets,freeze dried shrimp and krill,and occasional live grass shrimp and raw lean meat scraps.
