Id be willing to bet that your snake is a male, that is lookin' for love. This would explain his lack of appetite and increased exploration of his cage. He is looking for a mate. One of my longer term chondros never refused a meal until his third or fourth year. He went crazy breeding a female for a few months, and started eating again around the time she laid her eggs. If your snake is healthy and has good weight, he will be fine for several months. If you have a mature female, now is the time to introduce them. Good luck.
