Hi, you may have gotten some info already but I would get rid of the sand and tiles. You can use eco-earth, probably cyprus mulch, too. Make it about 3-4" deep, they love to burrow. Keep it moist by pouring 1/2 to 1 cup water in daily...spacing it around the tank. Large log and maybe a rock and water bowl. They do benefit from UVB but if your bulb burned out it would not affect it adversely for a while, they spend a lot of time under ground so don't seem to need as much as some reptiles. They will eat earthworms as well as crickets and superworms, and mine will eat egg as well.
