Hi, The cool end is reading around 83.5, the warm end is around 98-100 and the basking spot is around 110, so looking at it I could raise the basking temp a bit, I do have a heating pad I could put underneath the viv to try to get that temp a little higher, as I know you can go up to 120 with no problems, or another idea would be to perhaps put a piece of slate under the basking bulb as I have heard that slate tends to heat up more than sand and other types of rock and so on, might be an idea?. The thing is I'm wondering if he could just be getting used to this new set up as when I collected him the oweners said they had found out that the pet shop owner had the temperature way too high, but that made me think well they do like it warmer than a lot of lizards, so I'm not sure if they were thinking the temps sounded too high and kept him cooler or what, but any way he came out at about 9.30am ish this morning which is very early compared to when he used to come out so perhaps he might come out earlyer still in time. I'll also try putting the food in before he normally comes out and see if he gets in to a routine of coming out for it. I really wouldn't like to take him out and show him it's there though as from what I've read thats a big no no. Things are improving any how, I'll just have to see if I can get his feeding and so on a bit better. Cheers Martin
