Just happened to stop by the forum and saw your post. Neurological problems are common in Enigmas (100% in my experience). However, the severity can range from almost undetectable to extreme cases where the animal can't even feed itself.
It also seems to change in severity within a single specimen due to outside factors such as breeding behavior or stress. Sometimes getting better, sometimes getting worse.
If this behavior is new, I would guess that it is probably because he is an Enigma and not something to worry about. It could even have been because you were looking in on him!

I have a male Enigma that behaves normally until I introduce him into a female's cage, then the excitement makes him tremble, pace around relentlessly and sometimes even fall over on his side. But eventually he settles down and he is a great breeder that makes near perfect babies.
