I am guessing you got this "advice" to remove your reptiles for fear of salmonella contamination. Raw meats and eggs can also carry salmonella does that mean that you should remove all meats and your refrigerator and counter tops from the house?...No, don't let your baby handle raw meat or have access to surfaces where such meat is prepared. The same rules apply to your reptiles.
