Nothing specific to amazons as far as treating mites. I would recommend using the nix treatment if thats not what you are using. Its by far the most effective way to treat them I have found. Its $20 and you end up with 2 gallons of mite solution. Here is a link to a guy on youtube that has a very detailed video on how to use it. I believe it is in 3 parts.
