The cost for treating a 200 pound animal is the same as it is for treating a 2 oz animal. The problem is getting it to the office. House calls are $200 to $300 minimum.

Aldabs are one of the more bullet proof tortoises. They are very forgiving animals... which really helps.

What would say one needs in the way of money to have set aside or be able to come up with. You cant be lucky forever, one should exspect medical treatment at some point. This of course would be on top of the cost of a building to keep them in Winter in most States. Are they like owning a Lambo!or even a small BMW!
