My 6 year old nephew wants a lizard for Christmas and I was wondering what you all recommend. I had my first reptile when I was 9, which was a wild caught eastern fence lizard which made a great pet. Since then I've gotten more into snakes (currently own 20) than the lizards (I have a sandfish skink and bearded dragon). I need to find something easy to take care of (small size, hardy, docile, low humidity requirements, eats mealworms, etc.) and also cheap. After some quick searching, I am consider an armadillo lizard; any other suggestions? Thanks!
