Posted by: Earthworks at Wed Nov 10 14:04:15 2010 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by Earthworks ] and heres the hard part i dont have a picture! this is an animal i saw on a cover of reptile or vivarium magazine many years ago, its a large bodied skink similar to a shingleback but with more spined plates and a spined tail and bright red/orange coloration with some black pattern mixed in...would love to know this species if anyone thinks they might have an idea THX!
