Hi,
If you look a bit lower down on the posts you will see one called My Egyptian Uro's new viv, with pics, take a look at this as I use a sand clay mix and I described it in that post. If you need any more info please let me know. One thing I would suggest is that you really wet the clay so that it is nice and mushy, as I don't think I added enough water as it dried and crumbled and the clay particles were still whole, so that shows I didn't add enough water. Any way have a play around with differnt water ratios, I'm planning on re-doing it at some point so if you find a good ammount of water to add please let me know as it could save me some time and messing around. Also one other tip that I read for excavator clay is to re-use it by microwaving it, this will sterelise it so that you can safely use it again.
