Like Pat, I've never seen this behavior so really no "answer". It almost sounds like she's going into the water, taking some in, and then releasing it....why I have no idea, but I'm picturing the snake saying "ever since going to college mom, I've had that not so fresh feeling....." LOL, don't ask why but that's what I thought when I first read your thread. At this point, it looks like it's on you to figure this puzzle out. Just keep doing what you're doing, observe and report. Maybe everyone will learn something new from your experience. I can't think of a single time I've seen this behavior, even with virgin females.
