I think the larger, heavier, older the better. Many females will lay 6 clutches back to back once they get started. This takes a lot out of them. The greater the starting weight the better since it can be challenging sometimes to get their weight to fully recover between clutches. Even harder to get a growing dragon to gain weight during this time. It makes sense to wait until the dragon reaches their full size/weight potential. Early egg laying would likely slow or stunt her full potential.
If the question is will she survive laying eggs at her size? Yes most likely it won't be a problem. It's just not the ideal time.
