Wow, what are the odds (?) i was about post the exact same thing here.
In my opinion, it's quite possible, although we could have raised the same question on burms a few years back, when the first chapter was released,and nothing significant was noticed. You see, the life span of a movie nowadays is short; it stays in theaters for 3 or 4 weeks and then something cooler comes along (sign of the times, i guess). So, the age of kids having their minds stuck on something in particular is gone. These days, everything is a rapid fade, and what is "cool" changes monthy. Relax, this month retics are "awesome"... next month it will be aliens and then zombies and then tarantulas and then... you get the idea
