I hibernate my torts outside in a hibernaculum. I keep en eye on the weather via my iphone and am always on the watch for days when sub 32 degrees are forecast. (not too often where I live in the Santa Cruz mountains)

That said, we almost dipped down last night, much sooner than I expected. I keep two digital thermometers in the hibernaculum, and both indicate that we never dipped below 36 degrees, so I dodged a bullet that time. (in the event of freezing temps, I bring the box inside)

My question is this: is anyone aware of any service that might send out email alerts when freezing temps are forecast? I think that would be really helpful, in addition to keeping my own eye out for the weather.

To be clear, the purpose of my post is NOT for advice on how to hibernate torts; what I'm looking for is info on any possible weather email alert systems.

Thanks
