Temps can vary several degrees in your own yard. They make all kinds of gizmo's that are wireless,and can display the temps at a station hundreds of feet away. Try Radio Shack. (dont get the cheepies, they dont last) They record the high/low temps humidity and possabley have one with a warning buzzer.
