While my partner was patrolling a site at the Airport in 36 degree sleeting rain (around 1 am this morning), he informed me that he saw a lizard in the stairwell (Mind you this is in West Tennessee in late November). Sure enough, I go where he saw this and sure enough there was an anole (he was pale brown and very sluggish). After cleaning out a tupperware container and putting a warm napkin on the bottom, I carefully obtained said anole and put him somewhere warm and by 4am, he (assuming it's male due to pink on throat) was bright green and running about inside container. Now I have two questions: How did he get where I found him? (and) What do I do with him now? I brought him home and can safely say I rescued him from freezing to death. What should I do?
