Any hints on inducing them to make little gex?

I keep my brevis pairs together year-round, but cool them somewhat for about six weeks each winter (temps in the 50s). As soon as I turn the heat back on, they're at it.

I get NUMEROUS 2-egg clutches from each pair from March through the summer, but I've yet to hatch any eggs! I often find them too late (already dried out) or have my incubation parameters out of whack (closest I came was a couple of late-term dead-in-egg babies, likely due to being too humid).
