You can find guides online to brumating your uros, but usually they're a very extreme method that can put your uros at risk. It does work (I've tried it), but you don't NEED to brumate them so hard. Here's what I do:

Gradually shorten the lighting period down to about 8-10 hours of light daily. I keep the daytime temps the same as at any other time of year. Allow the night temps to get a little cooler than the rest of the year. I decrease the food, too - amount and frequency. They tend to stop eating on their own, but they should have food available if they want it.

That's it. Gradually increase the light period again and increase food for their springtime. There's much less risk to your uros, and I've seen mating behavior from all three species I keep. Hope that's helpful. Maybe others will give you their methods, too.
