Hello,

Just a couple of days ago a friend of mine bought this lovely little female fire skink from an expo but decided he didn't want it and brought it to me the next day. It was his first reptile purchase and he had no clue what he was doing. Of course, it is wild caught but seems to be in good health and is friendly. The only thing I'm a little worried about is that there is a bump on her lower left jaw which feels rather hard. I don't want to handle her much right now as she's just getting settled in but I took a few quick pictures so I hope someone can help me out with this.

Any info is appreciated!

(PS. I know she's missing a few scales on her nose.. the guy who bought her took her out in the car and she jumped and scraped her nose under the seat.. some people...)

Click on the photo to enlarge it.

This is her right side, with no lump.

Here is the left side, the lump is kind of hard to see at this angle but you can tell it's there.

And here is a photo of it straight on. You can clearly see the difference on the left side of her face.
