They are steel frame, with all sides plywood and the front is Plexiglas, double doors. Ventilation holes drilled in the sides, and heat lamps on top. A piece of chicken wire is attached to keep him from coming in contact with the bulbs. Our jcp x diamond is a little better than 7ft now. His enclosure is 4ft long x 4ft high x 2ft deep (the second picture). He rarely uses the floor of the enclosure, but right now he is sick Please excuse the picture, his home is in a disarray, with all the cleaning we've had to do and fighting to remove a moody snake from his home.
