Hi I Have A Baby Horned Lizard a guy had for as far as I know a few weeks. hes alil bigger then a 50 cent piece. I decided not to let him go because Im afraid he'll Die after being raised by a humanprobably since it was born. I brought sand from the area were the guy said he got him and bought a little plastic carrier cage for him and some tiny crickets. I'm not exactly sure if he's eatten any. I read this time of year they hibernate and this little guy sleeps alot but has gotten up and walked around.I also got a Heating pad to put under his cage and I put water daily. I also Put the half the cage in direct sunlight. I'm concerned because sometimes he looks thin and sometimes alil round around his tummy. what would you suggest I try? should I hand feed him? or is putting the crickets in there the best way? thanks in advance for your help. he was found in riverside county
