I've only been out hiking a couple times in the past month or so and all that I saw were some grey squirrels. Temps here in South Carolina have been unusually cool for this early in the season. Last Monday nite, it got down to 12 degrees which is about as cold as it gets here! Havent seen any snakes since late October. saw some turtles last month and one large toad crossing the road during a thunderstorm a few weeks ago.
