Watched the Animal Planet show about this bite. Not for the squemish for sure. Surprised this article mentioned Jim was "nipped by a copperhead" shortly after this incident. I wouldn't have thought he could have done anything with that arm/hand. Milking another venomous snake so soon would definitely not have been in my plans. I admire him for wanting to save lives but, come on Jim, give yourself time to heal before diving in again. Even mild little copperheads can pack a powerful punch at times. Nice article and interesting show. Jim's hands are definitely paying a price for his endeavors.
