One thing to know about females, though, is that many will develop and lay eggs even if unmated. So you may be surprised if your female goes through an egg-laying cycle. It's normal but you must be sure to give extra calcium at those times. And one thing to be aware of with males, as they approach maturity, they may become excited just at their own reflection in the glass and get a little feisty trying to " get at" the " other" dragon, which is it's own reflection.
