Hey i recently got two blotched blue tongues, ive had them for a couple days now, however they are spending 99% of their time in their hidey hole. at first i thought this was due to the new enviroment, however i figured id ask incase.
is this normal behaviour?- will it continue?
I have heard that they are extremely curious little critters that like walking around and checking things out however these two havn't even left their hidey holes to bask!

the current temperature in the enclosure is 29 (celcius), and the thermostat is is set to 30 (celcius) i am told that the enclosure should be between 25-30.
due to the summer heat the thermostat hasnt allowed the red heat globes to turn on however ive been told that this is ok as long as the UV tubing is on.
the person who sold it to me had recently changed the UV tubing and we had tried to find some info on it however we dont actually know if it is UV or not, if it isnt UV could this be the reason?
The Tube is called Philips lifemax
