Posted by: Kelly_Haller at Sat Feb 5 20:50:18 2011 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by Kelly_Haller ] I would definitely agree with David in that E. notaeus is not typically found within Uruguay, and has only been found in the extreme northwest border region of Uruguay where it has a common border with Brazil and Argentina. Definitely not found as far south as Buenos Aires. The most southern range extent of E. notaeus appears to be around the Parana River floodplain and wetlands area just south of Santa Fe, Argentina.
