It a good post, but what is the definition of "mountain kingsnakes"?

The greer´s king has the common name "durango-mountain kingsnake" and the thayeri is called"nuevo leon ks", and don`t they both live on high elevation?

To me the greeri is a part of the mexicana group together with mexmex, thayeri and ruthveni.
But many authors have added alterna to the mexicana-group/complex???

I think that pyromelana and zonata are the "mountain-kings".
