>>Hello Guys, >>I just got done with a 8'x3'x20"high winter cage for a very large rhino iguana. Im now wondering If I should arrange the basking lights in a triangle shape as PE says is better for larger lizards. I never did it that way before, I always set them up in a row, 1 2 3. Has anyone experimented with the triangle, What do you guys think is the better way? >>thanks Bob
When I last kept large lizards I had a multitude of different bulb arrangement. Based on the location and how the animal would be basking. If the area below is suitable a triangle shape heats just fine, in fact the close proximity of the bulbs really makes it just one super bulb. This is not usually the case in linear arrangements. ----- Jeremy Payne JB Reptile
