I have some that at a year or year and half still want to run. the ones under a year run, don't like to be handled. as they get larger they tend to calm down and then the more you handle at that point the tamer they can be. I am sure others will have other advise, hopefully better than mine. I just think it takes alot of time. we have 7 iguanas at the moment.
