85 is right on the money... slightly less temp takes a tad longer to develop and supposedly provides better results in temperment, dispositions, and overall health.

Higher temp (above 85) and you run the risk of having them develop somewhat quicker and cause potential health issues.

I have been running mine 83-84 degrees.


Run your temps and humidity up too high and you'll have mold issues.


Those are my observations and what Ive gathered from some investigation.

What humidity level are you guys running somewhere between 80-90 percent is what Ive read.



These eggs are at 56 days of incubation and have about two weeks left. They have plumped up considerably and look perfect with no caving at all.
