Yea, I had heard about the spec ban, but had not heard about the yacare or the brown (what's the latin name for the brown btw?). It's amazing though, both the spec we currently have and a yacare we used to have both came from NY...and were confiscated in Charlotte where apparently the city (or the county) flat out bans the ownership. But, Animal Control had no problem sending them to us, because NC says we can own any other croc species BUT American Alligators without permit.
