Well, not only the money thing, but they're still being transferred within state lines, so there's no issues there! As far as gators, they still consider them endangered here (or species of concern) either way, that's their reason for keeping them a permit only species. It's not exactly a difficult permit to get, just have to prove that you have the proper enclosures for the ADULT animals (proper of course being defined by them). Not considered a game species though. Illegal to hunt or kill an alligator in the state. Only wildlife officials are allowed to remove what are deemed "problem" gators.
