It's been COLD as ALL heck down here the past couple months (coldest December on record!). There's absolutely NO way that snake was just cruising around for some time. From what I've been hearing it's been a tough thing to find stuff in the Everglades (Burms/Rocks). Let me tell you, low temps in this area (where the snake was found) commonly drop below freezing this time of year. It's a recent release (maybe that day even) 100%, guaranteed.
