But most hard veggies are more nutritious than regular leafy green veggies. My iguana wasn't eating well like he used to and was getting kindda skinny, so I added some winter squash to his salad which were consist of mostly greens. As soon as he saw the butternut squash, he attacked the plate and ate everything on the plate. After that I just put some grated parsnips, winter squash and other hard veggies on top and he eats that first, then snack on most of the greens all day. After a while, I try giving just greens, but he would only take a few bites here and there. Now a days, he usually gets the hard veggies. You can try it for yourself.... I'm not lying.
