I was wondering if anyone knew the approximate growth rate for crickets kept at a steady temperature of 77 degrees? I have been reading online that the life span of a cricket is about 5-6 weeks. I have been breeding them for a few months now and have 8 large totes full of thousands and thousands of crickets. After about a month they are only 1/4". I feed them veggies and chicken mash/oats, and use either potato or water crystals (depends on what I have available) for moisture. Maybe this is a normal growth rate. It just seems like people online are talking about raising these things for food at quicker rates. But, you can't believe everything you read online either!
