Turtle rescue 02/01/2011

.. my buddies saved truckloads of sea turtles from freezing at the coast near here. The water cooled so rapidly in shallow areas the turtles just shut down. Here's some samples.

.. this next is at my house Wednesday.

Three days of ice.. all my beautiful tropical plants and trees ruined. It will take a week of work just to clean up the mess, when it warms up. Probably, most of the lawn will be dead!

Interesting weather.
