I've observed three lock ups in the last 24 hours--god knows how many I've missed. It seems the lockups are shorter than they are with pythons, maybe 10-20 minutes each.

I'm just sort of wondering how long to leave the male in? I'm kind of thinking a month should do it. I don't want to leave him in too much longer than that because he doesn't seem to want to eat while he can mate, and I'm sort of worried about weight loss between the courting and not eating. I know what I've read suggest eggs are laid 70ish days after mating, so hopefully 30 days is sufficient time for it to really take...

The female is about 340 grams, the male is about 80. It's an amusing sight

We wouldn't have 6 and a half billion people if you had to be beautiful to get laid.
