It really make them crisp up and the extra water that is on the cut greens helps keep my green hydrate. You can do this with any greens you buy from the supermarket and pad them dry with a towel or paper towel before putting them in the fridge. It makes them last longer. I don't bother to dry them when feeding them to my green.... This way he gets the water on the leaf.
